PCCI Engages Local Chambers in DET Program
The Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry Human Resources Development Foundation (PCCI HRDF) Inc. conducts its first workshop to teach local chambers how to implement a Dual Education Training (DET) model in their localities.
The DET is a model inspired and developed by the German government and further advocated by the PCCI and PCCI HRDF. It is a skills development and training mode where a student spends his/her time majority in an industry while learning the theoretical knowledge in a school institution. The system is further strengthened by the incorporation of an In-Company trainer located in each company of immersion.
Present in the workshop are select-officers of local chambers from NCR (PCCI Quezon City, PCCI Makati, PCCI Las Piñas), PCCI North Luzon (Metro Angeles CCI, Pampanga CCI, PCCI Bulacan), and South Luzon (PCCI Cam Sur, PCCI Naga, PCCI San Pablo). The activity is made possible by the German partners from the K to 12 Plus Project.
